Pfeiffer Receives 30-Year Navy Service Award

Charles “Skip” Pfeiffer, Spaatz #114, recently received a 30 Year Career Service Award from the Department of the Navy. A Lead Instructional Systems Specialist, he is currently on a special detail to the Joint Simulator System (JSIMS) Program Office in Orlando, Florida, as their Training Manager. Skip was earlier honored with JSIMS Government Employee of the Month recognition. As a Civil Air Patrol lieutenant colonel on the Florida Wing staff, he served as Project Officer for the 2003 International Air Cadet Exchange (IACE). Florida will be hosting visitors from Australia, Belgium and Canada. Skip’s dedication to the exchange program is noteworthy; over a CAP careers spanning 38 years, he has participated in IACE six times–once as a cadet, and five times as an escort officer.
