To Our Friends And Colleagues:
The Spaatz Association welcomes you to join us in honoring some very special Aerospace Leaders. These leaders have inspired CAP members and shaped America’s place as the premier aerospace power in the world!.
This celebratory event is planned for 4 March 2006 at the Crystal Gateway Marriott hotel in Arlington, VA. Beginning with a social at 1800 and a special four-course dinner at 1900 we will honor Aerospace Hero’s of yesterday and today.
Members of Gen. Carl A. Spaatz’s family will recount a testimonial to his leadership of both the mightiest Air Force in history and of his loving family. Today’s Aerospace Hero’s will be represented by two outstanding former CAP Cadets: Air Force Captains Nicole Malachowski and Kim Campbell.
Captain Campbell is best known for her war-fighting exploits as an A-10 pilot during Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. She will share her story in words and pictures and video in a presentation guaranteed to inspire us all.
Captain Malachowski recently joined the world-renowned Thunderbirds as their first female pilot. She will communicate her remarks in a special video about her CAP Cadet experience and how it shaped her outstanding career.
The evening will culminate with the award of three Aerospace Leadership Scholarships to deserving CAP Cadets. Each $2,500 scholarship assists an outstanding young person in achieving their dream of a private pilot’s license.
Your participation and support is welcome to assure the success and enjoyment of this evening. Please study the attached information and more information about The Spaatz Association can be seen at our website www.spaatz.org.
If you cannot attend may we ask that you consider a sponsorship for a group of deserving Cadets?
Thank you for your friendship and interest in the CAP Cadet Program — we look forward to the pleasure of your company. Please RSVP by 15 FEB 06
