2006 TSA Elections – “Building The Legacy…”
TSA is now accepting nominations or applications for our elective positions via email. It you received the Gen. Carl A. Spaatz Award you are eligible to nominate, be nominated or to apply for election.
To serve in an elective Office the member must be a TSA Lifetime Member or a current dues-paid TSA member. To vote you must be a TSA Lifetime Member, a current dues-paid TSA member or be in your first year since earning the Gen. Carl A. Spaatz Award.
Officers and Board Members – 7 positions available – Our Officers and Directors are the governing agents for our Association. Their job is to seek new and innovative ways to further the goals and objectives of the organization. This requires active engagement in Board affairs and the ability to contribute time, effort and/or resources to TSA activities.
The following Officers and Board Seats are up for election this year:
• National President – presently held by Stephen W. Austen, # 161
• National Secretary – presently held by Richard L. Griffith, # 1228
• Board Member # 2 – presently held by Marla Patterson, # 101
• Board Member # 4 – presently held by Edward F. “Ned” Lee, # 316
• Board Member # 6 – presently held by Ted F. Bowlds # 290
• Board Member # 8 – presently held by Lawrence L. Trick, # 452
• Alternate Board Member # 10 – now held by Kaycee Gilbert, # 1535
You CAN Make A Difference… If you have an interest in nominating a candidate or in applying yourself for any position please submit a brief write-up (125-150 words) via email to: mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org.
This write up should include the name, position sought and a brief resume’ of pertinent experience plus personal goals and objectives for making The Spaatz Association a premier fraternal and benevolent organization. Experience in leading 501(c)3 tax-exempt organizations (like United Way, Combined Federal Campaigns, CAP, corporate giving programs, etc.) would be a plus.
The deadline for nominations and applications is 15 May 2006.
